Red Moon -
Graphic Novel
I've always loved comics because they told a story with words and great artwork. Also because they were like little movies. They're basically the storyboards for a film. I really think they should be thought of as higher forms of communication than what they are. At least by adults in this country.
In the early 2000s I wrote a script that I wanted to a film I wanted to animate. My good friend Steve Kozak read it and wanted to produce it as a graphic novel first. I said I can do that! Two years later we had Red Moon, a 200 page graphic novel that was basically a love letter to The Secret of N.I.M.H. and Watership Down via The Incredible Journey.
